About the role
The Vice President of Building Operations and Facilities oversees all aspects of building operations and facilities management, ensuring that the physical environment supports the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and repair of all building systems and facilities.
- Develop and implement facility management strategies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Manage a team of facility managers and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building operations and facilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and support organizational initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in building operations and facilities management.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing large-scale building projects.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and sustainable practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
