About the role
The Vice President of Advancement is responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities, managing donor relations, and developing strategic partnerships to support the organization’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Oversee annual fundraising campaigns and events
- Manage donor relations and stewardship programs
- Develop and implement strategic partnerships with corporations and foundations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Prepare and present reports on fundraising activities and results
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising or related field
- Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience with grant writing and proposal development
- Knowledge of nonprofit regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
