Vice President of Accounting

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio
• Oversee all aspects of accounting and compliance
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Manage and elevate financial and investor reporting, partnering closely with the CFO
• Drive process improvement, controls, and scalable accounting practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 10+ years of real estate accounting experience; affordable housing / HUD / Section 8 experience strongly preferred
• Proven team leadership experience
• CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
