Vice President, mRNA CDMO

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, mRNA CDMO to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will shape the strategic direction for a specialized portfolio within a highly regulated, science-driven environment. The role will translate market insight into portfolio priorities, pricing, and value propositions while partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to drive execution. It also carries responsibility for building a strong product management organization and serving as a senior voice for the portfolio with key stakeholders. Location: Fargo, ND - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategic direction for the portfolio
• Establish portfolio priorities and pricing strategies aligned with market needs
• Translate customer insights and industry trends into compelling value propositions
• Build and develop a high-performing product management team
• Establish governance processes that connect strategy to operational plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align resources and execution priorities
• Serve as the executive spokesperson for the portfolio, influencing key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 13+ years of experience in product management, strategic marketing, or commercial leadership in life sciences or related fields
• Experience leading teams in a complex, matrixed environment
• Proven track record in portfolio strategy and product lifecycle management
• Strong business acumen with a focus on revenue growth and competitive differentiation
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions
• Experience in FDA-regulated industries preferred

Pay

$240,000 – $300,000 annually
