Each year, more than 150,000 breast reconstruction procedures are performed in the U.S., yet one in three patients still faces a serious complication. That is not good enough. At Elutia, we are working to change it.Our mission is to humanize medicine so patients can thrive without compromise. We are pioneering drug-eluting technologies to improve the interface between medical devices and the patients who rely on them. How we work matters just as much as what we make. The OpportunityUp to one in five women undergoing surgery for breast cancer faces a serious infection. That is unacceptable, and we are doing something about it. Elutia (Nasdaq: ELUT) is executing a deliberate strategy to address surgical infections, beginning in breast cancer surgery and extending across soft tissue repair and reconstruction. That strategy is anchored by NXT-41x, the Company's next-generation antibiotic-eluting biomatrix, a product with billion-dollar blockbuster potential in the plastic, reconstructive and general surgery markets, where persistently elevated post-operative infection rates hurt patients, hospitals and physicians alike. With FDA clearance decisions expected for NXT-41 in the fourth quarter of 2026 and for NXT-41x in the first half of 2027, Elutia is building the Medical Affairs function to bring its technology to the surgical and scientific communities, as well as the general public.
