Vice President, Manufacturing

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Manufacturing to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will oversee a new tissue processing facility and shape the operating model needed to support safe, compliant, and scalable biologics manufacturing. The role will partner closely with executive leadership to expand capacity, strengthen site performance, and ensure operational discipline across a regulated environment. It is a highly visible position focused on building accountability, improving outcomes, and advancing continuous improvement across the site.

Location: Vandalia, OH - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

Compensation: $280,000 – $315,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a new tissue processing facility with compliance to regulations
• Develop strategies for capacity expansion in biologics manufacturing
• Drive continuous improvement through innovative practices and technologies
• Lead procurement efforts to ensure compliance with cGMP standards
• Collaborate with executive teams to set and achieve strategic growth objectives
• Manage site leadership to drive accountability across operational functions
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, and productivity

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or a related field
• Bachelor's degree required
• Background in medical devices, tissue, or biologics
• Proven experience managing a manufacturing facility
• Hands-on experience with cGMP practices and FDA audits
• Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong communication and leadership skills
