Vice President, Legislative & Government Affairs .

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison to state government entities
• Aid in the development of state legislative public policy
• Develop strategic relationships with state legislative policymakers
• Identify and analyze state legislative and regulatory issues
• Represent state health plan and the company Corporation to trade groups
• Develop and shape legislative policies and strategies
• Balance reporting requirements to multiple constituencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Business Administration or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of related experience
• Extensive knowledge of state legislative and regulatory processes
• Experience with state legislature and healthcare trade associations
• Previous management experience in hiring and training staff
• Master's Degree or Law degree preferred
