Vice President, Lab Pilot (REMOTE East Coast)

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Lab Pilot (REMOTE East Coast) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This executive will lead product strategy and commercial performance for a lab informatics offering serving scientific customers in a highly technical and competitive market. The role combines P&L ownership, roadmap leadership, and cross‑functional execution to drive growth, margin, and customer value. Success in this position will require strong strategic judgment, executive presence, and the ability to build an effective product organization.

Location

Remote – US‑based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation

$220,000 – $260,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L, driving revenue and customer acquisition metrics.
• Define and oversee product strategy, including competitive positioning.
• Set pricing strategies for products and services.
• Drive the annual operating plan for revenue projections and capital needs.
• Manage the product roadmap, focusing on development priorities and customer enhancements.
• Approve new product initiatives, ensuring clear commercial cases and launch plans.
• Build and lead the product team for optimal performance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in product management or software leadership, preferably in scientific instrumentation or lab informatics.
• Proven P&L management experience in a SaaS environment, with focus on revenue and margin.
• Experience building high‑performing product teams in a software‑focused context.
• Knowledge of lab informatics concepts including LIMS, ELN, and data management.
• Strong executive presence to advocate the product vision to stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
