For our client, we are seeking a Vice President Global Communications to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $320,000 – $480,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the global communications strategy to support the company’s business goals and AI priorities Provide strategic communications support to C-suite executives, preparing speeches and media briefings Oversee internal communications for significant initiatives like product launches and major announcements Manage external reputation through media relations, public campaigns, and thought leadership efforts Develop crisis communication strategies and facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams Build and manage a high-performing global communications team, setting key performance indicators and priorities Leverage data to assess communication effectiveness and make strategic adjustments Qualifications 10+ years of communications experience in agency or in-house settings, focusing on enterprise/internal communications and external PR/analyst relations 5+ years of experience managing global communications teams or equivalent leadership roles Experience advising executives on high-stakes communication scenarios and managing enterprise announcements Demonstrated ability in strategic storytelling, with strong writing and presentation skills Proficiency in crisis communications, including emergency response strategies under pressure Familiarity with AI tools for drafting, research, and measurement, with understanding of risks and governance Collaborative leader, adept at influencing and coordinating across functions and regions Benefits Opportunity to shape a global communications strategy in a high-growth tech environment Engagement with C-suite executives and significant influence on company narrative Chance to lead a dynamic global team and work with cross-functional partners Focus on innovation with AI-driven communications tools Participation in high-stakes communications during key business events such as M&A Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
