About the role
Scalo Solar Solutions is seeking an experienced Vice President & General Manager to lead and scale the commercial solar operations. This role involves shaping strategy, overseeing project execution, and collaborating with company leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales, estimating, and operations teams
- Provide executive oversight on commercial solar projects from inception to closeout
- Drive process improvement, profitability, and growth
- Act as a key member of the Executive Management Team
- Report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with the CEO
Qualifications
- Experience with financial management and strategic planning
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and solar industry practices
- Experience in solar system production analysis and financial modeling
- Proficiency in reading architectural and electrical drawings
- Experience with: Solar production analysis, Financial modeling, PV system design, Data communication and system commissioning
- Strong communication skills with clients, executives, and field teams
- Ability to climb ladders, lift equipment, and perform physical tasks as required
