About the role

Scalo Solar Solutions is seeking an experienced Vice President & General Manager to lead and scale the commercial solar operations. This role involves shaping strategy, overseeing project execution, and collaborating with company leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales, estimating, and operations teams
  • Provide executive oversight on commercial solar projects from inception to closeout
  • Drive process improvement, profitability, and growth
  • Act as a key member of the Executive Management Team
  • Report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with the CEO

Qualifications

  • Experience with financial management and strategic planning
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and solar industry practices
  • Experience in solar system production analysis and financial modeling
  • Proficiency in reading architectural and electrical drawings
  • Experience with: Solar production analysis, Financial modeling, PV system design, Data communication and system commissioning
  • Strong communication skills with clients, executives, and field teams
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift equipment, and perform physical tasks as required
