Vice President Finance

About the role

This is a rare, confidential opportunity to join a well-established entertainment and hospitality organization as Vice President of Finance, leading core accounting operations for the organization. You'll own general ledger, financial reporting, AP/AR, and payroll functions while building out internal controls and mentoring a growing accounting team. This is a senior leadership seat with a real hand in shaping how finance operates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Lead accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Establish and maintain internal controls that protect the integrity of financial data
• Manage and develop accounting team members, driving performance and professional growth

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Demonstrated experience managing general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and close processes
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining internal controls
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage accounting teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Pay

This job is expected to pay a base of about $190-220k plus bonus & relocation.
