About the role
Remote with up to 50% travel. Salary: $261,600-$359,700. The expected compensation range for this position is from the minimum to midpoint of the pay grade. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, education, and organization fit.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the physical infrastructure, facility operations, and strategic responsibilities across hospitals, clinics, and the health system.
- Ensure quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and organizational goals are met.
- Develop long-term facilities strategies aligned with the organization's mission and growth.
- Assess and manage risks effectively to protect the organization's interests.
- Manage innovation and foster a culture of creativity to remain competitive and adapt to change.
- Make key financial decisions, analyzing and aligning the capital budget with capital and operational needs.
- Ensure the departments meet best practices, regulatory guidelines, and building codes.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Engineer preferred.
- Education: Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management. OR 7 years of experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

- Engineer or Business Administration Degree Highly Preferred.
- Develop and hold team members accountable to benchmarks, standards and performance metrics, including workforce management principles and measures.
- Strategic oversight of construction, planning, and real estate—referred to as the “facilities tower.”
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners; includes overseeing strategic partnerships or joint ventures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify infrastructure risks (e.g., HVAC systems) and recommend capital improvements.
- Ensure all facility operations meet healthcare compliance standards (e.g., Joint Commission).
