Responsibilities
- Design and execute Phase 0/1 trials for radiopharmaceutical therapies
- Lead translation of preclinical pharmacology to First-in-Human dosing strategies
- Collaborate with medical physicists on radiation dosimetry in clinical protocols
- Act as primary clinical expert for global health authority meetings and IND submissions
- KOL Collaboration: Build a network of academic and nuclear medicine specialists for strategic alignment
- Portfolio Strategy: Lead strategies for early clinical development assets at RayzeBio
- Mentorship: Mentor RayzeBio asset teams and serve as a cross-functional leader
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: MD or PhD in Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, or related fields; MD/PhD preferred
- Clinical Depth: 12+ years of drug development experience, specifically in early-phase clinical protocols for radiopharmaceuticals
- Led clinical and cross-functional teams in a biotech setting
- Experience designing dose-escalation studies for radioactive drugs
- Knowledge of implementing 'image-then-treat' approaches in clinical settings
- Proficient in clinical dosimetry protocols ensuring patient safety and compliance
- Strong commitment to understanding and improving patient outcomes in cancer therapeutics
