About the Role

Lead one of the nation's premier direct response fundraising programs at one of America's most respected veterans service organizations. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and serving on the Senior Leadership Team, this executive will shape the future of direct response philanthropy while helping ensure WWP can continue its promise to be there for every warrior, no matter what.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide, omnichannel direct response fundraising strategy spanning digital fundraising, direct mail, DRTV, monthly giving, donor acquisition, retention, analytics, and emerging channels.
  • Develop and execute innovative, data-driven fundraising strategies that strengthen every stage of the donor lifecycle from acquisition through long-term engagement and loyalty.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while overseeing strategic vendor partnerships and integrated fundraising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and Resource Development teams to maximize organizational impact and revenue growth.
  • Champion testing, analytics, predictive modeling, and donor insights to continuously optimize fundraising performance and supporter experience.

Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of leadership experience in fundraising, sales management, or business development with a consistent record of achieving ambitious revenue goals.
  • Significant experience leading direct response fundraising strategy, including multi-channel donor acquisition and retention programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams and managing complex vendor partnerships.
  • Expertise in data-driven fundraising, analytics, segmentation, testing, optimization, and customer relationship management systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across a large, mission-driven organization.
