Vice President, Data Solutions & AI

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Data Solutions & AI to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This executive role will shape the organization’s enterprise data, analytics, and AI direction, with a strong focus on aligning technology capabilities to business priorities. The ideal candidate will lead modern data engineering and cloud data platform efforts that enable scalable, secure, and high-quality decision support across the enterprise. This role will also drive governance, privacy, and compliance standards while partnering closely with application and business leaders to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategies aligned with business objectives
• Lead enterprise data engineering and modern cloud data platforms to support business operations
• Establish data governance frameworks and standards for data quality and security
• Partner with application teams to implement enterprise AI and intelligent automation solutions
• Collaborate with business leaders to advance analytics and data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required
• Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced technical degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in technology, data, analytics, or AI, with significant executive leadership experience
• 8+ years of experience leading and developing teams
• Proven success in developing and implementing enterprise AI strategies, including generative AI and machine learning
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, preferably in regulated industries

Compensation

$225,000 – $275,000 annually
