This role involves leading business operations for an assigned group or business unit, focusing on strategic planning, talent development, fiscal accountability, operational effectiveness, and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in and lead the creation and execution of strategic initiatives for organizational improvement.
  • Participate or lead the interview and selection process for roles directly reporting to the Vice President.
  • Provide guidance and support to direct reports, fostering a productive and enthusiastic team environment.
  • Identify and develop successors for leadership positions within the organization.
  • Ensure accurate budgeting and management of sales and gross margin, aligning with company policies and core values.
  • Oversee and supervise all business operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other business units and departments to implement and execute operational activities.
  • Represent the company in business development efforts, including identifying growth opportunities and managing customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training.
  • Experience: 5 years of project management experience or 8 years of project management experience.
  • Travel: 25-50%.
  • Work Schedule: Typically 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday; however, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • History of successful fiscal control and management experience.
