About the role

This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact by:

  • Commercially focusing on optimizing client relationships to grow revenue.
  • Consulting with clients/prospects on their strategic vision and using an in-depth understanding of the firm's solutions and value proposition to help achieve that vision.
  • Delivering the full value of the firm by leveraging the deep knowledge of the firm's product offerings and how they can best meet client needs with a solutions orientation.
  • Evaluating and structuring deals (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to determine the optimal terms for both the client and the firm's commercial objectives and risk appetite.
  • Working with the broader client coverage team to manage the sales lifecycle with a specific focus on operating model discovery and design.
  • Fostering a constructive feedback loop with clients to ensure BNY solutions are optimally designed and can deliver on requirements.
  • Collaborating internally and connecting the dots across the firm.
  • Remaining intellectually curious about products within the firm to stay informed and up-to-date on all firm offerings.
  • Working with product partners to identify and develop new or emerging markets or capabilities for the firm to enter where appropriate.
  • Collaborating with third-party vendor partners, specifically focused on front-office investment management systems, to ensure that BNY delivers collaborative solutions aligned with best-in-class technology systems.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in client-facing roles, along with substantial Asset Servicing Product knowledge (Hedge, Pension, etc.) is preferred.
  • A good understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape, and industry drivers in the relevant region is desirable.

Qualifications

Pay

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $69,000 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

Schedule

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
