Vice President, Airline Supplier Manager - Chase Travel
About the role
Build high-impact airline partnerships where your negotiations and insights directly shape customer value and commercial results. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to unlock growth across a fast-moving travel business.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage multiple airline contracts to deliver measurable commercial value, including positive EBITDA impact
- Lead supplier strategies that grow sales and revenue with key airline partners
- Build and deepen senior-level partner relationships to align on mutual growth goals
- Develop short- and long-term plans that support business objectives and supplier performance
- Collaborate with internal partners to prioritize initiatives and optimize supplier opportunities
- Create quantitative and qualitative models to measure agreement value and identify upside
- Monitor and report key metrics, insights, and financial impacts to senior leaders and partners
- Identify and launch new partnership opportunities, including new travel product concepts
- Resolve supplier issues and serve as the primary escalation point for partner concerns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7 years of airline or travel industry experience
- Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier agreements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills, including presenting insights and recommendations to senior audiences
- Prioritized ability to solve problems and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong relationship-building skills with a partnership-focused approach to growth
Skills
- Experience managing multiple airline partners and complex commercial negotiations simultaneously
- Experience developing revenue management or performance optimization strategies with partners
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and scenario analysis
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience creating executive-ready storytelling and presentations for external partners
