Vice President, AI Strategy & Client Engagement
About the role
The VP, AI Strategy and Client Engagement serves as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand, adopt, and realize value from Fidelity's AI capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of product management, AI innovation, client consulting, and business strategy. The successful candidate will translate complex AI capabilities into clear business outcomes, communicate Fidelity's AI vision and roadmap, gather client feedback and market insights, and partner with Product, Engineering, Client Engagement, and business teams to ensure client needs influence the evolution of our AI solutions. The position expects approximately 30% travel and operates under Fidelity’s transitioning onsite working model, with onsite expectations varying by region and role.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary client-facing representative for Fidelity's AI strategy and solutions, translating complex AI concepts into practical business outcomes, client value propositions, and articulating governance approach and product roadmap; lead strategic discussions and represent Fidelity with client executives, consultants, and industry partners regarding AI trends, opportunities, risks, and business transformation; gather client feedback, emerging challenges, market intelligence, and competitive insights to influence AI product strategy and prioritize client solutions; build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and strategic partners, while acting as the voice of the client within Fidelity's AI organization; support client onboarding and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, which may include workshops, strategy sessions, and executive reviews focused on AI transformation opportunities; address client questions regarding AI governance, security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
