About the role

EP Wealth Advisors (EPWA) is a wealth management advisory firm with over $49.1 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026, serving predominantly high net worth individuals. The Vice President provides comprehensive services to existing clients and reinforces management functions of the Senior VP and Regional Director by establishing and maintaining lead flow generated through referral networks, internal marketing campaigns, and Centers of Influence (COIs). This position also provides leadership and development support to advisor teams.

Responsibilities

  • Service a designated number of clients.
  • Generate business through referral networks, marketing initiatives, COIs, and client referrals.
  • Maintain and expand assigned territory in referral networks.
  • Assess, monitor, and report key indicators of business continuity and new business to Senior VP and/or Regional Director.
  • Collaborate with internal team members, including portfolio management, operations, and financial planning, to further client relationships.
  • Follow up with clients, document interactions, and manage client-related workflows in the contact management system.
  • Participate in firm initiatives to develop services, build relationships, support business development, and enhance client retention.
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements, financial services, and other relevant functions.
  • Assist Senior VP and Regional Director with the professional development of wealth advisors.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
  • Perform additional functions and tasks as needed to achieve the firm’s business development and client retention objectives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in a business-related major.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relationship management/sales experience within financial services.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial, investment, and risk management concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Reliable, organized, and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, self-directed, and exercise discretion without immediate supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure, prioritize workflow, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
