About the role
The Vice President & Administrator of The Friendly Home oversees key clinical and service departments, guides quality and compliance efforts, supports financial and operational performance, and helps advance a Culture of Excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership for assigned clinical and service departments, ensuring efficient, effective, and compliant operations.
- Partner with the President, Chief Financial Officer, and department leaders on strategic planning, annual operating plans, budgets, and capital planning.
- Develop, implement, and monitor programs, policies, procedures, and performance objectives that support organizational priorities.
- Lead quality assurance and regulatory readiness efforts to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Promote a strong team culture through effective communication, staff development, orientation, training, and ongoing education.
- Support resident, family, employee, and community relationships through visible, service-oriented leadership.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced senior care or healthcare executive who leads with integrity, builds trust across teams, and balances strategic vision with hands-on operational follow-through. This individual will be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment, leading through change, and fostering collaboration across departments to deliver exceptional care and service.
