Vice President, Accounting and Financial Reporting

For a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, this role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial analysis teams to deliver accurate monthly financial statements
• Serve as strategic advisor to executives with insights on financial performance
• Manage compliance with SEC reporting and SOX 404 requirements
• Develop high-performing teams through effective supervision and accountability
• Implement finance technology strategies to optimize processes using AI and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 12+ years of finance and accounting experience
• 5+ years of management experience leading managers
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification
• Extensive SEC Reporting experience in audit or corporate roles

Pay

$290,000 – $290,000 annually
