About the role
SALMON Homecare and Hospice seeks a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the patient's home environment
- Communicating regularly with patients' families and healthcare providers to update on patient status
- Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Pass a background check and drug screening
