About the Role

Drive with Via in Newark, NJ as an independent contractor Driver Partner. Via uses app-based technology to reinvent shared rides, helping reduce congestion, lower emissions, and efficiently transport passengers. This service operates in partnership with the City of Newark to provide on-demand ridesharing.

Schedule

This service operates only on weekends:

• Friday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Pay

• Earn up to $30.00/hour (net).
• $300 new driver partner promotion bonus.
• $100 bonus for driving in Newark, NJ.

Requirements

Driver Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• 25 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of driving history.
• Personal auto insurance policy.
• Pass a background check, including criminal and motor vehicle record checks (SSN required).

Vehicle Requirements

• 2015 or newer 4-door sedan or SUV (no trucks permitted).
• Pass a vehicle inspection.
