Via Driver Partner - $100 new driver partner promo!

About the Role

We are partnering with independent contractor Driver Partners in New York City to provide evening and overnight transportation for Columbia University shuttle services. Using the Via Platform, you’ll connect with student riders to safely transport them in main campus areas. Via’s app-based technology makes transportation more efficient by reinventing shared rides to reduce congestion, lower emissions, and get passengers to their destinations efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide shared rides using Via’s efficient routing system.
• Safely transport students during evening and overnight shifts on Columbia University’s main campus.

Requirements

• Valid New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) driver’s license.
• More than one year of driving history.
• Pass a criminal and motor vehicle record background check (SSN required).
• Carry commercial auto liability insurance in line with TLC black car requirements.
• Lease and drive an eligible vehicle (Via can help connect you with a vehicle partner that includes gas in the rental price).

Pay

Hourly rates of up to $41/hour, plus a $100 new driver partner promotion after completing at least 30 hours of driving within 30 days of activation. Breaks taken during driving hours do not count toward the 30-hour minimum. Promotion terms are subject to change at Via’s discretion.
