Veterinary Technician: Surgery
The Role
You’ll be the right-hand person to our veterinarians during surgery — monitoring anesthesia, prepping patients, assisting in procedures, and making sure every furry patient is comfortable, safe, and well cared for. You’ll also put your skills to use with:
- Pain management & patient recovery
- IV catheter placement & venipuncture
- Surgical prep & instrument sterilization
- Dental cleanings & radiology
- Pre- and post-op client communication
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of veterinary technician experience (surgery experience a big plus!)
Skilled with anesthesia and surgical monitoring
Confident, calm, and compassionate — especially during surgical discharges
A team player who brings positive vibes and supports their crew
Someone who loves learning, sharing knowledge, and advocating for pets

HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service Mount Laurel is a mobile practice that has grown into a full-service hospital. We offer top-notch traditional and integrative medicine, from surgeries and dental care to acupuncture and chiropractic services.
Qualifications
