The program
VEG offers a Veterinary Technician Student Externship Program designed to provide hands-on experience in emergency medicine. This program includes shadowing and assisting with various aspects of emergency care, such as triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care. It aims to inspire students and help them decide if emergency medicine is the right path for them.
