Belmont Animal Hospital, an AAHA-accredited practice in Nashville, TN, is offering a veterinary technician externship opportunity. This role allows you to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional veterinary setting, working alongside experienced veterinarians and credentialed technicians. You'll apply your classroom knowledge to real-world cases, building a strong foundation for your career.

Responsibilities

• Assist the medical team with patient care and observe various procedures.
• Perform technical tasks under direct supervision.
• Support daily clinical functions, including patient intake and discharge processes.
• Practice effective communication with team members and learn clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an AVMA CVTEA-accredited Veterinary Technician/Nursing program.
• Eligibility to participate in an externship as required by your academic program.
