About the role
The Sterile Supply Veterinary Technician will prepare instruments and operating room for surgery, troubleshoot and remove faulty equipment, maintain supplies, decontaminate and clean operating rooms, and serve as a resource to the surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery
- Troubleshoot and remove faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement
- Maintain appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment
- Decontaminate and clean operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures
- Clean and sterilize instruments and wrap packs
- Serve as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment
Requirements
- Self-motivated, positive attitude
- Organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques

Pay
$17.00 - $23.00 / hour, dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.
