Veterinary Sterile Supply Assistant

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Framingham, MA is seeking a dedicated Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team. *Must have prior sterile pack experience!

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.
• Troubleshoot and remove faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.
• Maintain appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Decontaminate and clean operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and wrap packs.
• Serve as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, positive attitude.
• Organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience with sterile packing required.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Pay

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Pay range: $20.00 - $27.00 / hour.
