Veterinary Technician - Relief

Role Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care
• Advocate for pets and educate clients
• Aid in maximizing productivity and maintaining positive patient flow
• Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state regulations
• Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options
• Manage medical records using practice systems
• Collect and document relevant health history and information
• Use safe restraining techniques and follow standard protocols
• Maintain clean, sterile, and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs
• Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Veterinary technician licensure preferred
• 2-3 years of clinical experience
• Surgery experience required
