Responsibilities

• Assist in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics.
• Educate pet parents with compassion and clarity.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and patient histories.
• Promote low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction.
• Mentor assistants and foster a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Requirements

• Saturday and Sunday availability.
• 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Texas.
• Confidence in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, paid for by Petfolk).
• Comfort with technology, adaptability, and motivation to grow.
