- Environment of Collaboration: Work closely with a full staff of experienced Emergency and Primary Care Veterinarians.
- Strong Communication Skills: Essential for both clients and colleagues, requiring confidence in navigating interpersonal and client interactions.
- Experience with Restraint, Venipuncture, and Anesthesia: Comfortable handling these procedures and managing the details of a specialty practice.
- Additional Skills: CPR, EzyVet, and SmartFlow experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years Veterinary Technician experience.
- Associates in Veterinary Technology preferred.
- CVT license preferred.
- Experience with Phlebotomy, IV Catheterization (peripheral), and providing nursing care and husbandry for admitted patients.
- Knowledge of basic laboratory tests, principles of anesthesia, and the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to meet client needs assessment, evaluate quality standards, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of English language, including composition and grammar.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions on given assignments.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
