Veterinary Technician - LVT - Catlett Animal Hopsital
Catlett Animal Hospital is seeking a Large and Small Animal Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to support our 3-doctor practice. We are happy to provide training and mentorship for technicians or assistants without prior experience—if you’re interested in mixed animal medicine, we want to help you grow!
About the Role
This position may be full-time (35–40 hours per week) or part-time. We work with a wide variety of species including horses, cattle, pigs, small ruminants, camelids, chickens, dogs, and cats. This role includes work both in-hospital and on the road with our ambulatory veterinarians.
Our practice blends traditional medicine with a homeopathic flair, offering a wide range of procedures and alternative therapies such as acupuncture, PRP injections, and laser therapy. Our large animal team serves multiple counties including Fauquier, Prince William, Culpeper, and Stafford.
We value our technicians and utilize them to their fullest potential, offering LVT appointments, exposure to a wide range of surgeries, and ongoing mentorship and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Preparing appointments
- Driving and restocking the ambulatory truck
- Safely restraining both large and small animals

Pay
$18+ per hour, depending on experience
