What You’ll Do
- Monitor and care for non-critical and recovering patients
- Administer medications and treatments (IV, IM, SQ, PO)
- Absorb and manage inpatient diagnostics including bloodwork, imaging, and catheter care
- Prepare and manage patient recovery from anesthesia
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, clinicians, and support teams
- Maintain accurate records, follow treatment plans, and assist with patient discharge
- Demonstrate sound medical knowledge and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Apply Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques to keep patients safe and calm
Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time position with the following available schedule:
- Thursday-Saturday: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM (Overnight)
- Sunday-Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM (Overnight)
Some holidays are required.
Compensation
Starting at $21.00/hour, plus a 25% shift differential.

What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse
- CVT/LVT/RVT licensure preferred or educational equivalent
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a high-volume setting
- Strong knowledge of veterinary pharmacology, terminology, and disease processes
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- A calm, focused demeanor and a commitment to learning and growth
