Veterinary Technician III (Phoenix, AZ)
About the role
The incumbent will work under the general direction of the Phoenix Veterinarian, independently provide advanced clinical veterinary technical support for laboratory animal species to ensure the delivery of high-quality veterinary care, animal welfare, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform independent clinical assessment, triage, case management, and follow-up of veterinary cases while exercising sound judgment regarding treatment, monitoring, and escalation to the veterinarian.
- Serve as a technical resource for investigators, husbandry staff, and junior personnel by providing training, coordinating clinical activities, and promoting consistent application of UAC Veterinary Services standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of recent, relevant experience as a Veterinary Technician, with a strong background in laboratory animal species. A current AZ State license as a Veterinary Technician is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
