Veterinary Technician Externship - Boston

The Opportunity:

We're a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic in Boston focused on providing comprehensive care for pets. Our clinic is designed with both pets and people in mind, and we're committed to using technology to enhance the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.

As an extern with us, you'll gain hands-on experience in a supportive and successful environment. You'll work alongside veterinarians and veterinary assistants, participating in surgeries, dental procedures, and shadowing appointments with credentialed veterinary technicians. You'll also have the opportunity to educate pet parents and learn about a full scope of veterinary practice through innovative technologies and new medical equipment.

What You'll Do:

• Focus on patient care with support from veterinary assistants and a remote nurse team
• Work side-by-side with veterinarians to provide top-quality patient care
• Develop your skills through insights and techniques introduced to a full scope of practice
• Pilot clinic tools that haven't yet entered the mainstream
• Attend internal educational events provided by our Medical Operations Team

You Have:

• Must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program
• Class requiring externship hours and/or skills
