Veterinary Technician Externship - NYC

The Opportunity

The opportunity is to complete an externship in a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic with thoughtful mentorship and exposure to a variety of cases. At Bond Vet, we believe the role of a conventional veterinary technician has not realized its full potential in any GP or urgent-care clinical environment, and it is our mission to bring this role to the modern day.

What You'll Do

• Focus on patient care, with support from our veterinary assistants and remote nurse team you'll be able to concentrate on the patients in front of you.
• Work side by side with veterinarians pushing the boundaries of veterinary medicine and providing top-quality patient care, supporting communities across your region.
• Your skills will be thoroughly developed through providing insights and techniques that introduce you to a full scope of practice.
• Use innovative technologies, new medical equipment, and more as you pilot clinic tools that have not yet broken into the mainstream.
• Attend internal educational events provided by our Medical Operations Team.

You Have

• Must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program and will be in a class that requires externship hours and/or skills.
