Responsibilities

  • Patient restraint, triage, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia.
  • Assist with CPR and use of practice management software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow).
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient care through clear, effective communication.
  • Knowledge of scheduling patients, receiving and treating patients, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests.
  • Use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment.
  • Sterilization techniques for instruments and materials.
  • Preparation and “tableside” assistance for a variety of treatments.
  • Assess client needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Associate’s in Veterinary Technology is a plus.
  • CVT license is a plus.
  • Experience with anesthesia and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy.
  • Knowledge of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment, including their use, care, and storage.
  • Familiarity with sterilization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and composition.
  • Ability to work independently and accept direction on assigned tasks.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Schedule

Full-time: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 8pm–8am. Holidays are required.

Pay

Starting at $21.00–$30.00/hour, dependent upon experience.
