Veterinary Technician - Dentistry
About the role
The Pet Dental Clinic is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join their team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Queen Creek, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Support advanced dental and oral surgery care for patients
- Play a critical role in improving pets' quality of life
- Hands-on responsibilities such as anesthesia monitoring, dental imaging, and assisting with complex procedures
- Essential support functions including patient intake, recovery and discharge coordination
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
- CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred
- Superior/advanced technical skills
- Strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
- Possesses a positive work attitude
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Qualifications
