Veterinary Technician
Primary Responsibilities
This role involves assisting in the clinical setting, with cross-training provided to support the reception area as needed. The position supports veterinarians and technicians throughout daily operations and patient care.
Requirements
- 3+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
- Strong working knowledge of clinical assisting duties and patient handling
- Comfort and confidence with laboratory collection, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (VTS) or Veterinary Assistant (VAA) preferred
- Current license to practice veterinary technology in the state of Texas
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Compensation: $18 - $22/hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus Package: Up to $2,000, based on experience & licensure

Pay and Schedule
- This is a Part-Time position, Monday-Thursday from 7:30am-6pm and rotating Saturdays from 8:30am-12pm.
