Veterinary Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
- Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates.
- Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
- Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
- Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of veterinary experience required.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Pay
Veterinary Technician positions are paid between $21.00 and $28.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with the following typical hours. The schedule includes four weekday shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Availability every Saturday is required.
