Veterinary Technician

About the role

VCA High Peaks is seeking a Full Time, Licensed Veterinary Technician to join the medical team. The ideal candidate will support the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid community and will be part of a team that provides a wide range of services including access to a Board Certified Surgeon performing advanced surgical procedures.

• Compassionate care of hospitalized animals

Requirements

The successful candidate must hold a current CVT, RVT, or LVT license. Experience in a full-service veterinary practice is preferred.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial. A positive attitude and a passion for veterinary medicine are also important.
