Veterinary Technician

About the role

VCA Morris Animal Hospital is expanding its Patient Care team and seeks a full-time Veterinary Technician to support patient care and client experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records

Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE

Pay

$20 - 27/hr and pay range is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
