About the role
New Hope Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join their full-service hospital and long-standing team. The ideal candidate will be trusted to perform their job well and feel supported by the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures
- Perform diagnostic sample collection and technical nursing tasks
- Serve as a patient advocate, delivering compassionate, detail-oriented care
- Collaborate closely with doctors and fellow technicians to maintain high standards and smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician or equivalent hands-on experience
- Several years of veterinary technician experience (this is not an entry-level role)
- Confidence in anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills and a calm presence, even on busy days
- A team-first mindset and genuine care for patients and clients

- Highly skilled in veterinary medicine
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
