Animal Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! A $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS is available!

About the role

We are a busy five doctor practice with a boarding, daycare, and grooming spa. We have created a fun yet professional atmosphere and strongly believe you will enjoy coming to work every day!

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
• Absorb relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
• Perform blood draws and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain, monitor, and recover patients.
• Perform ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, and dental x-rays.
• Provide instructions and client information packs.

Requirements

2-3 years veterinary hospital experience
Communication with team and clients
Customer service skills
Able to work well independently
Team oriented
Maintain long lasting relationships with clientele
Able to multi-task

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Current license to practice veterinary technology in the state of [State]
