About the role
At Petfolk Veterinary Clinic in Dallas, we’re on a mission to transform modern pet care by building a compassionate, innovative team of veterinary professionals. As a fast-growing animal hospital, we focus on improving the health and happiness of pets, pet parents, and our team members through advanced technology, modern facility design, and a supportive, collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
- Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics
- Educating pet parents with compassion and clarity
- Ensuring accurate medical documentation and patient histories
- Promoting low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction
- Mentoring assistants and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Texas
- Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, and we'll pay for it)
- Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow
