A Day in the Life of a Veterinary Technician

As a Veterinary Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a compassionate team to help heal injured pets. Our technicians partner with all departments to ensure lifesaving care for our shelter pets. Our veterinary technicians impact over 10,000 shelter pets a year while serving their community in several ways, such as partnering with our Pet Help Center to help owners keep pets, and outreach events to extend animal lifesaving throughout Jacksonville. Our techs rotate between various tasks including surgery assistance, pulling/drawing biological specimen collection for sing, filling meds, and so much more.

Schedule

Full-Time (40 Hours/Week) and Part-Time (28 Hours/Week). Weekends required.

Pay

$15/hour (non-exempt)
