Responsibilities
- Proficiently perform technical skills
- Provide nursing care to small animal ICU patients
- Care for and assist patients under the supervision of Clinicians and House Officers
- Coordinate and assist with patient diagnostics, procedures, and other necessary treatments
- Instruct and demonstrate veterinary care and technical skills to 4th-year veterinary students
- Triage and help stabilize incoming ER patients
- Provide advanced nursing care to small animal ICU patients
- Recognize changes in the health of an animal
- Demonstrate attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a veterinary technology program accredited by the AVMA or CVMA
- Registered, licensed, or certified as a veterinary technician within one year of the start date

The successful candidate will be well-rounded and possess multitasking skills.
