About the role
We are seeking a Lead Credentialed Veterinary Technician to provide skilled medical care under veterinarian supervision and support hospital operations through team oversight.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across nursing, anesthesia, surgery, radiology, and dentistry.
- Mentor and coach team members.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize workflows.
- Educate clients on treatment plans.
- Manage inventory and equipment.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program.
- Current state licensure.
- Minimum of three years of experience.
- Leadership or mentorship skills preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced technical skills such as anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and radiology.
- Excellent communication skills and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand and walk.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work safely around animals and medical hazards.
